The faculty members of the Department of History actively contribute to academic research and scholarly activities. A significant number of research papers have been published by the faculty in International and National peer-reviewed journals, UGC CARE-listed journals, and edited volumes.
The department regularly organizes national seminars and webinars on diverse themes related to history and social sciences, encouraging academic dialogue and intellectual exchange. Faculty members also actively participate in various national seminars, conferences, FDP, and academic workshops, presenting their research and engaging with scholars from across the country.
Mrs. Kawaljit Kaur is a distinguished member of the Social Science Study Board and the Board of Studies at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, contributing to curriculum development and academic planning.
Dr. Renu Bala has authored two scholarly books and has been honored with the Best Teacher Award by the Global Guru Award, Ranidanga Yashoda Educational Society and S3R Education and Welfare Trust, West Bengal, in recognition of her excellence in teaching and academic contributions. She is also a member of the Editorial Board in Shodh Sidhi, a Multidisciplinary Double- Blind Peer Reviewed International Research Journal as a Subject Expert Editor.
The faculty members are also actively involved in various institutional activities, contributing to the academic, cultural, and administrative development of the college.
